Award Criteria
The Gerald P. McCarthy Award for Leadership in Environmental Conflict Resolution is presented annually to an individual who has taken a leadership role in preserving and protecting Virginia’s environment by fostering collaboration and conflict resolution.
The nomination period for the 2023 McCarthy Award is now open!
If you would like to submit a nomination please review the 2023 nomination form, linked above. Completed forms should be sent to Alexandra Cook at abc3hc@virginia.edu no later than March 6, 2023.
The McCarthy Award is not open to nominations of, or from, VNRLI faculty or staff, or nominations of groups or organizations.
